Lets hear some opininons, ive got a lead on a cheap 2002 F4i, clean bike 100% stock. with 50,000 Kms, (thats like 36000 miles i think)
dudes lookin for 3000 negotible....

too high mileage? i mean even if i have to put a clutch in it its a decent buy?

 

i would give him like 2,200 for it

 

mine grenaded around 35,000miles.

 

one of my boys sold one with 47,000 on it. As far as I still know it is still running great. As long as it has been taken descent care of I would say Pick it up.

 

i forgot to mention, mine was a former race bike and i used to bounce it off the limiter all the time.

 

its a honda keep oil in it and it should run forever my buddys has an f2 that says 32000 on it and he had the speedo off for 3 years and beat the crap out of it

 

they last forever but that is ALOT for 36000 miles.

 

not really, I mean a clean f4i motor costs what...$800? clean title stock f4i's with decent miles go for $3800 all day and some..

 

That May have had something to do with it. Tough bikes but Race bikes Eat **** all day long. Then to be owned by someone who rides stunt... Rough life.

 

ya just gotta wait for the right deal. I sat on my money keeping a close eye on Ebay.. took mabe 2 months and found my bike. 3,800. with 2,512milage. stock everything in boxes. even spare tank.. handbrake. sprocket kit and stock. powers cage. 905 flat bar. adjustable rear link. the whole shabaz. dude bought it thining he could ride. got scared and sold it. its out there ya just gotta keep an eye out and no impulse buys.

 

+1 it takes time, or sometimes you get lucky. took me forever to find a deal and i was on ebay and craigslist everyday. for 3 grand you can find something better
