hohey Vs. 905???

Alright so i've been seeing alot of guys goin to the hohey setup which seems to be the hot ticket. But why is it that the 905 dual brackets have been forgotten about? 905 had those things way back when and no one seemed to show them any attention.
It seemed as tho the majority were goin with full throttle adapters.
So i guess the question is what makes the hohey better than the 905 dual caliper bracket? Materials? Construction? or is it that, it's the popular thing to do/the "TRENDY" thing?

Re: hohey Vs. 905???

hohey is fast and makes quality parts, plus i dont think 905 offers the 4 piston bracket thats the only reason i went with a dual caliper bracket, 2 stock ones just seem pointless to me unless there linked together.

After I got a 905 cage and it sucked I never looked to them for any other parts. Their service is garbage also.

HHD holds it's own because of good customer service, good products, and innovative ideas. It started w. the Dual Caliper for the F4i and blew up from there.

With those combinations, people will take notice. That's why HHD 'IS" the hot ticket.

Re: hohey Vs. 905???

If I remember correctly the 905 bracket was $250... just for the bracket..... and when I went back on their site a few months ago..... I couldnt even find the 905 brackets listed..... does the site have them again?????????

I'd rather help the small guy out that cares about the sport and bends over for people rather than the ******** that see us all as dollar signs. Everyone has the right to make a dollar but in my opinion the big companies that make production parts for the sport is mostly overpriced garbage. There was a thread started last week about a particular company HINT HINT! LOL

905 cage on my yzf600... its good ****. don't know what you are talking about. I'm not by anymeans a bad ***, or even kinda good, but I try and try, which - you all know- means i drop the bike and bust my *** on a regular basis.
my cage does awsome. More pancakes from bp trying O's than I can count, and even more drops that arn't that hard. Just recently lost one goin a little faster, probably 35 mph on the street (stupid me, gonna combo it and missed the peg...) not quite at BP, and I watched the thing bounce and **** for quite a while. now the bottom is bent slightly towards the right side.
more than a year on this cage, my first and only so far.

I don't know about the rest of their product line, I've just fab'ed what I need other than my HB, and for that I got another stock caliper and bracket for my bike, cut off the end where it goes on the axle, and welded (TIG...) it to the existing bracket, master from a newer 636, and had a line built. about $130 w/ master from here on SL

+1 I had a bracket but I got that at XDL when they were there. I always seems to have issues ordering... Plus they don't have the 4piston. Ho hey has great quality products and his shipping is amazing

if you dont have the duckets for a dual caliper set-up, i sell adapters for $20+shipping and i guarantee them against bending and leakage unlike the others on the market. quite a few people here run them.
