Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
pop a few of those pain pills (they give you a ton of) and drink a few beers and your good to go.
Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
SOOOO... How many of you guys out there killing stoppies are gettin your asses of the seat. Was i doing this the wrong way. Should i stay on the seat or get of it like i was doing when i crashed?
Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
I hear it only takes like 5 lbs of pressure in one small spot of the collar bone to break it. What I always think when things get hurt it: You never realize how that certain spot of your body is always getting bumped and poked and prodded until it hurts like crazy!
Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
when i do stoppies i bounce down in the seat and grab some brake while at the same time i get my *** up off the seat maybe an inch...as the bike comes up i let the seat come back to my *** and just use brake control....keep your knees locked into that tank too...you prolly know all of that already though :-D
HEAL UP BRO!
HEAL UP BRO!
Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
yeah i cant wait to post up my x rays. when i went in b4 surgery they 2 large parts of my collar bone were seperated and pulled away from each othe and there was a little piece hidden behind the upper bone that the radiologist saw in the 15 degree angle x ray. im guessing the surgeon took that piece out. And i also heard it takes 15 pounds of pressure to break the collar bone because of lack of muscle around the bone, which is y it is a pain in the *** to heal normal, because the bone doesnt see all that much blood flow. Whatever pressure it takes to break the ****** sure isnt alot if u think about it. Would kinda be a good place to hit someone if you were in a fight ya kno, the **** hurts so bad!
Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
Damn dude i did the same thing about 2 months ago on my R6. Last time i saw the speedo it said 70, i have no idea how fast i really was going, but im a bigger guy too and got 6 screws as well. I bet you love the plate though. Mine made everything feel so much better. I bought a new bike 2 days after surgery and rode it from Colorado to Alabama 2 and a half weeks after surgery. But did you lose any feeling in your chest like on the skin? I lost it on the right side of my chest and the doc said it could take up to a year, if ever to get it back and the feeling of not feeling the skin drives me crazy.

Re: Stoppie gone bad!!!!
were you wearing your gear? stoppies are not fun to crash in a tshirt. and on that subject of crashing. it seems there is only 1 option when it comes to that 1/4 second you have to react, and thats jump the hell off and tuck n roll. my problem is i always try to wheelbarrel. ive been practicing it on my fiddy. but thats way diff then a big bike which i cant roll much on,
