Stuntoberfest 08
Just finally getting home right now. Was an awesome time and was good seeing everyone again.
The riding this year was sick. Dan Jackson had by far the best run I've ever seen from him. More energy than ever before, 360 stoppies, you name it. Redline Jesse was out there rolling stoppies like I've never seen from him. Bill D came out with all kinds of freshness. Nick Apex banged out figure 8 highchairs in his run like he'd been doing them his whole life. Bubash was murdering standstill burnouts while hanging off the left of the bike and killed no handed sitdown circles in his run. E-Dub was killing fast no handed circles with his left foot ON the seat (not in it!). Of course Vertical Joe put down a solid run with sick precision stoppies. Lin had more combos than Taco Bell. JB and Tony Prez both finally threw out runs worthy of qualifying. You name it, it took place.
Congrats to everyone out there. There wasn't a single rider this year who didn't clearly step up there riding.
Can't wait to see what comes of January.
I only took pictures on Friday, but I'm going to try to post up some shots later tonight.
Can't wait to see everyone again

Re: Stuntoberfest 08
Oh and Mr. McBeefy had a small situation on the drive home but from what I hear he's back to 100%.
Re: Stuntoberfest 08
yes it was a sick event, and u are right everybody is steppin it up big time, and i hope there are no hard feelings anywhere for the judges because i would have hated to try and judge this one, competition is tight and it would be really hard too judge the winner
:YEAH
:YEAH
Re: Stuntoberfest 08
Judging on Saturday was honestly not too bad. But clearly everyone was holding back a little bit, Sunday was not so easy. There was such a small spread between all the points. One foot down or bobble could have changed ALL the results, it was THAT close.
And don't forget to get a steering damper for next time

The location ended up being sick too. When I first got there I thought it was horrible, but after riding on the flat part of the track, it's really actually pretty good.
