Re: buells and ducatis

The belt drive's downfall is they don't offer a stunt setup without going over to chain, which will cost 400 new... Powers makes a cage for em that works EXCELLENT.

Compared to ANY other bike I've wheeled on, the Buell has the largest window of balance... It is a great stuntbike, as long as it doesn't get slammed constantly into the ground.

Todd Colbert still stunts his xb12, Bubba and his partner, Craig Jones teaches stunts on a Buell (btw holds stoppie world record last I checked)

As much as I love to ride a Buell, I say no to stunting it unless you pick up a wreck. They don't suffer fools, they take more money to prep properly (stunt parts and upgrades), and arent as tough as a f4i.

Good luck with your choices......

Re: buells and ducatis

Thanks man! It's hard to find info on stuntin' them. I'm getting one soon, I think I'll stunt it a bit, but I have my KDX200 for practicing so I don't think I'll try new stuff on it. Hopefully that'll save me from wrecking it.

My friend told me that the frame pucks save it from most stuff though. He's a Harley dealer, and he has some guys that race them, and a guy that crashes them.

That was most likely improper tire pressure, tweaked fork tubes, or loose neck bearings.

My X1's are solid as a rock at that speed.

Unless, did you have bags on it? That can cause the shake.

Oh yeah, and bent/warped rims or imbalanced tires.
