dude if youre friends with powers WHAT THE HELL TAKES HIM 3 DAMN MONTHS TO MAKE RACE RAILZ!?!?! why doesnt he try to improve things?

i work for an oilfield service company and i know for a fact i ship and receive more than he ever will, and im the only one doing it! if our shop of about 6-8 people can put together a 3 phase separater on a skid and have it shipped to texas within 2-3 weeks, why cant a rail be made a little faster?
im not saying hes a bad guy, in fact he was always really cool when i talked to him and willing to walk me through the install. im just sayin WTF is up with this wait? why cant they just say, "hey, im fuggin busy yo, ill be on your order in bout a month." id understand...

-TIME FOR RANT-
i called in once a week for 3 months to get them and every week, "oh hey, we will send them tomorrow" 3 MONTHS! WTF?
when i got them (which BTW i love em ) a week into owning them my all thread broke at the weld and i didnt know till i was in a turn and the damn thing was dragging the ground in a corner! i didnt wreak so not a big deal right? well ill call powers great "customer service" and he will happily send out a replacement...
well thats what he said...
after about 4-5 weeks of me calling EVERY DAY they no longer answer my phone calls or the shop i ordered them from. i was never rude or angry or anything. im actually a very patient person, but there comes a time when shi- gets ridiculous!
heres to another 3 months without my replacement all thread.

 

+1 on that one..... i have 2 sliders just sitting on my desk because the thread was way too big....

 

uhhhh why would ur allthread be welded? u do realize that allthread is just a long rod thats threaded the entire length and you can buy for like 50 cents a foot at any hardware store? ps. powers still sucks!

 

powers himself may suck...and his welders may move at turttle like speed...but there cages and sub cages still kick *** no denying that

 

yah theres no denying that their cage designs is bulky, shin busting, frame breaking and rolls bikes on to their tank....noooope no one will argue that

i dont know my cage and subframe cage hold up fine....never had a busted shin,rolled to the tank or any of that fun stuff you all speak of and im out there 4 times a week rideing for atleast 2 hrs a day......

 

yah i know a couple black guys that dont like rap music...and atleast 2 girls that arent total ****** retards, so whats your point? i had a 905 cage that worked out real well for me. does 905 make piece of **** cages, yup, did i get lucky yup. will i deny that other ppl have issues with 905 cages, nope.

 

i do like their sub cages..not a fan of solid mount pegs anymore despite what all my friends told me would happen when the bike landed on me....but their subcages are beefy as hell....once im gangster enough to try an omr over the stock f4i pegs i doubt id ever look for a used subcage from powers again...

i wanted to order 1 of their cages but after a quick call and to hear it would take 2 months to get one...**** that i chose 2 weeks from sick innovations and that included a custom color of powdercoat, i have pancaked the si cage tons, never has it broken, even stood the test of a crash on the hwy bike flipping every direction....nothing wrong with it....product speaks for itself i guess....**** powers products and their lack to get **** done quickly


if you own a business, and you know people buy the product....keep **** in stock....if you cant afford it...then cut costs and make the company afford it.....if your staff cant make them fast enough....1 hire more staff, 2 cut costs where you can, 3 raise the price of the product enough to cover the costs of workers, 4 sell more....not too hard

 

i know im just to lazy to buy it when powers said he would send it.
as for why it was welded, i dunno. ask peg grinder since he's buddys with the guy? they also didnt have any washers in the kit so there was something ells i had to buy. not a big deal.

i had to drill some out to fit the all-thread but it was only like 1 inch into it to make it fit.

 

they weld a nut on the other end for whatever reason..easier to tighten i guess

 

I have had sooo many threats, phone calls, emails and letters about being sued from people here on StuntLife. Phony lawyer calls, and you name it. NEVER has anyone actually gone through with it. Internet Rambos are scary the 1st couple times, then you realize that there is nothing they can do anyway. Bahhh... Post away.

Long story short.....Powers Makes a good product but can not fulfill their customer service and product turn over rate...

905 on the other hand makes great product with their newly redesigned cages and can fulfill customer service with a very fast product turn over....:YEAH

 

stories of powers cages.... first, took over 3 months to get a cage in for a 05 cbr 600, 2nd took so long on the gsxr 600, friend called and said send it with no paint, 3rd first drop from a slllloooooowwwww scrape and it bends and breaks the stator cover...

 

"gsxr for life" "powers makes a good product" "905 makes a great product" hahah youre speaking the language of a squid

 

They both do but powers sucks on producing their product...
