It's worse in canada, he just caught a BIG break.. if you get caught doing a wheelie here.. you lose your license for a week, your bike gets impounded for a week, you get 6 points on your license, $2000 to $10,000 fine, and you get left on the spot where they pull you over.. plus you pay the impound lot fee's.. and thats just for first offence..

Actually I got busted by the dopest cop ever. He caught me for doing 90. I was leaving my internship at the fed building in downtown Cleveland. I hit the highway and was doing 90 to get to an open area. He came after me but I didn't see him because it was an unmarked car, sooooo when I hit the open area I slowed to 60, bounced it up and rode for a 1/2 mile. Then I put it down and saw him following behind me pretty close with his lights on. He already had my plate so there was no sense in running. I pulled over and he came up to me and asked for my license. Coversation is as follows
Cop: Thats bad timing isn't it?
Me: Yes sir it is.
Cop: Just couldn't resist could you?
Me: Something like that.
Cop: Where do you work? (I was riding in a full suit and tie looking all James bond and $h!t
)
Me:Federal building downtown, I'm an analyst with the coast gaurd.
Cop: Where are you headed?
Me: School, trying to finish it up and graduate.
Cop: That was a pretty nice wheelie, I was behind you the entire time, Now get to school with both wheels on the ground, last thing you need is a wreckless op and 6 pts on you license.
Me: Yes sir, have a good one.
He never asked for insurance or ran my license. He was the $h!t!!! Then I did a wheelie 5 mi. down the road. :YEAH

Damn MN you get a careless/wreckless its up to $700 fine and up to 90days in jail. But they hardly ever throw you in jail. Got one once went to court. Paid $250 and gave me 3 days sts. Picking garbage off the side of the road on the weekend.

FTP!!! I got $455 ticket for riding in a lot?!?! He said he saw me wheelie on the road.. Gettin that stuff dropped for sure... Blocked the exit or I woulda ran...

i just went to court in nh for doing 92 in a 50, i was rocking a seat stander in the high speed lane at like 65 and a guy in a gallardo wanted to play so i put it down and showed him what a liter bike with plus 5 gearing can do. i smoked him laid off at like 130 was slowing down see a cop im doing around 90 guy rips of median gallardo pulls over i keep going figuin get off next exit and bail . . . be fore i can do that i have to go threw a toll theres 3 troopers at the tool booth and they toll is shut down . . . long story short
$600 fine and loss of driving privledges in nh for 20 days

i would like to see some of you guys that have 600s and talk about running from cops in new york thay will run you down.one time i got cought for 164 was the max thay got me going at 140 something i look in my mirror and see headlights catching up to me cop cars are quite fast.im in upstate new york maybe in the city you could get away.

can I just point out they everyones quick to hammer on the po and when they are cool there is no positive praise?
