Re: rain stunting anyone??

i learned my burnouts in the rain and do second gear stuff in sub thirty chill. kinda nervous but i think it would actually help on brake control when it spins and rockets up by surprise

Re: rain stunting anyone??

its not to bad as long as your tire has enough tread to hook up and with the tires you got you should be cool... just becareful comin down your tire has a tendency to wash out just be gentle on the breaks..... LOL

Re: rain stunting anyone??

i like to run race rain tires cause dot race tires make loud barks upon clutching. but endos and hard ecceleration leave marks that look like skids. ive kinda always wondered what would happen clutching dead stop in the rain. looks like ill find out. thanks!!!!!!

Re: rain stunting anyone??

i hear you. my friend took the rap for a three mile stand up i did at three am on a permit. the state cop told us he had an r1 and let us go because he was impressed. got my licence in 2003 but been riding since 98. i could do 250 foot endos and five mile spreaders but couldnt pass the state test. go figure.

Re: rain stunting anyone??

Spend a few mins warming up your rubber prior so the compound is always consistent.

Re: rain stunting anyone??

when i was learning circles it helped to ride in the rain. it makes you a lot smoother with the brake and throttle.
