What cage to run on a 05 6ooRR

I have some 905 race rails on it now but I just don't like it when I drop the bike. So I would like to know what some of you think the best cage is for the RR, I have had the FI on my F4i and I did not like it, works but fit like ****, I had the MXD to and I loved it. But I have not seen much about the MXD for the RR, so what do you all think of have seen to be the best cage for the RR?

Re: What cage to run on a 05 6ooRR

i have a si on my 03 rr and it rules. i forgot to turn the idle down the other day and was doing a 50 mph stagered stand up and fliped it over backwards. the bike highsided and bounced off the tires, cage, and gas tank a few times! I bent the bars back into place and drove it home. I had to put a throttle cable on it and boom Im back playin again. I love my sick cage.

Re: What cage to run on a 05 6ooRR

i had a SI on my rr and it worked well but i baby my bikes and dont drop em real hard. i honestly would recomend the tygershark on that bike because the engine mounts are so low its easy to roll over with most cages and the tygersharks sliders stick out real far and help to keep it from rolling over.

Neeerrrmind the engine mounts being low. Ian at SI designed his 600RR cage sick. Mine doesn't roll bad at all, and I got clipons turned out. The cage is retarded strong. SICK INNOVATIONS ALL DAY LONG!!!

thats an ignorant *** statement. 1st of all it will take you 3 months to get a powers cage. 2nd the powers cage will hit the ground trying to drift. 3rd the powers cage has a very high likely hood of breaking your frame because it mounts flat against the frame as opposed to in the engine mount. dont believe me do a search and youll see a few threads about powers cages busting the frames on 600rr's and gsxrs.

one of my roommates ordered some **** from him a while back.. waited and didn't wanna be a dick so he gave the guy some time.. never got his **** and when he finally got ahold of MXD they told him too bad, take it up with your CC company.

I had to call Powers like 3 times to remind them about an order i placed for the hardware for my cage.. but it finally showed up and worked. Didn't have instructions or anything but the bolts and ****.. but it wasn't very hard to figure out.
