Re: hoheydesigns.com
he has a bunch of questions on the four piston setup, for some reason he heard i don't know how but that you have to shave down the pads so the front caliper will fit in the rear?....if you have to he doesn't wanna go through the hassle....he will get the regular setup....does it matter what rear caliper you use? can he use his 03 636 rear caliper....if you don't have to shave them down then he would get that but the next question is does it matter if you get the front right or left caliper?....can he use is 03 636 front caliper?....how long of a brake like should he get?....
Re: hoheydesigns.com
the reason you get the four piston setup is so you dont have to use the shitty 636 caliper
and yes you do have to shave down the pads, just use it for awhile and then take it off and you will see where the pad isnt being rubbed down and you just shave that

....well he has one but it doesn't work....thats why he just wanted to call....does it matter what side you get the front left or right?....and what bike? Re: hoheydesigns.com
If he is gonna try the four piston, right on the site it tells you what calipers work for your bike, and I know for my '04 636 it has to be the front right four piston caliper i'm not sure if that is true for all bikes though, but once again the site tells you that too.
Re: hoheydesigns.com
yup all the info is there. But yeah you use a right side HONDA caliper.
AND you dont have to shave the pads, I always run mine till they get to the point that they have to be shaved and throw them out and put new ones in.
