Re: opinion
**** that, call your local PD and ask for a detective. You can do it all on the low never giving up your information. Some honest joe prolly out slinging burgers still paying for that bike, and some dick face has it.
Re: opinion
Like as mentioned before, worrying about retribution is never fun..... But really, how popular is that scumbag? And if you find out or the cops find out who he is working with, then those ******** will be locked up too.
I have always had a rule on thieves. Stealing out of desperation for the survival of you or your family.... very forgiveable.
Anything else is unexcusable. Especially bikes.
Hell yeah do the right thing.
If I lived closer, I would do it for you after hitting the bitch with a bat a couple times. Nothing like the wild card from out of town to go and bust some ***!

Re: opinion
IF he stole it I would do something
maybe not call the cops, maybe just beat the **** out of him, or steal it back and return it
but do whatever you gotta do..
It's one thing to buy stolen property, its another thing to go out and steal it yourself!
What I would personally probably do, approach him with a whole group of friends, 10 guys. Tell him he has 2 options, get his jaw broke, or call the cops on himself.

Re: opinion
You have no idea how someones going to react to there stolen bike being given back, its prolly all fucked up and beat. Your just going to roll in to some jaded dudes driveway on his once pristine bike and tell him you got it back for him. You might end up getting the wrong end of the bat.
Your paying taxes to these lazy **** detectives to sit on there asses. All PD's have annonomus tip lines. Call on blocked ID, give names and details and they can do there ******* job for a change.
Re: opinion
I have worked 30+ Stolen bike cases as a Private Investigator in FL, 50% on average have been turned over to Law Enforcement for recovery of the vechile. The hard cases are the chop shops that take the bike and eBAY, craigslist the entire bike in 24 hours of boosting. You may get an arrest but the revovery of the loss will never happen.
Make your own decesion but keep in mind, your good deed could land you on the wrong end of the law if you take matters in your own hands.
