All right, I am the 1000th person to post on this subject.... yay!
So, I have noticed that there seems to be a problem getting oil pickups in general......... I have toyed with the idea of starting to fab up some pickups........ I have done my daytona 955i so far, and was thinking about picking up some popped motors to use to jig out some pickups for several types of bikes....
What is the demand?
What motors should I make them for?
What would be a good price? I've seen em for 80 shipped, does that sound fair?
I heard the r6 needs it in the earlier years, and beyond that I'm not sure... My 636 never needed it, but the Daytona had a mid/ almost forward pickup, and I never felt comfortable with it.
I am in the market to buy popped motors, even just the block, oil pump, pickup, and pan.... for several types of bikes.
Let me know. I don't have anything else better to do, I should be able to pop out several a day, if the demand is high enough........

make one for the 954... i dont like haven to run extra oil in my bike and even at that if i stay straight enough long enough the light will come on.... i knoticed it comes on during ss circles to left so yea make one for a 954 and ill buy it

I need a pickup for a gixxer. Sent Ryan emails but he wont reply....he only would take money. All Good but still need a f-ing pickup....preferrably from someone who will honor their word and send out the part for the money requested.

i got an extra blown f4i engine from a guy that had a stuntex oil pick up on it. he said that the oil pick up made his engine blow up because he did a chainsaw and starved the engine of oil. is this true? can that happn?

no... a pickup will not make your motor starve for oil

I appreciate all the input guys........ I don't exactly understand why every thread ends up with hate in it and red blox in my rep...... Don't know what I did to **** anyone off........ Sorry if I am encroaching on anyone elses' business ventures. I just noticed a need in the market, and I'm trying to act upon it.

Some may not "need" it......... But I've been told that a few of em have room to move back a little...... A little insurance is always nice.
That's why I made a pickup for my Daytona. It almost never goes up on 1, being my street piece, but when it does I like the piece of mind knowing I don't need to look down for an oil light......
