SI 219 shipped to ur door from hai. will not hit drifting, does not roll the bike, is strong as **** and is warranted against any broken welds. also is not bulky and wont bang up ur shins. powers is straight junk and will hit drifting and will roll onto ur clip ons and looks like straight *** and is a shin banger etc. the TS is a good cage too but i think the SI is better on the 636 especially for the price

Truthfully, all said and done if I could have gone back and done it again I would have gone with Tygershark, you can't beat a lifetime guarantee no questions asked. I have went through a couple Sick Innovations. If you do get an SI definitely get the sliders which I think should be included anyways. I ultimately ended up building my own which I have not had a problem with yet.

SI should have the lower bar run all the way to the back mount and not half way back to the top bar. When you hit hard, the force from the lower bar bends the top bar up and just totals the cage.

not that my cage has ever bent on me but i certainly want my cage to bend before it breaks my frame/motormount

yes you cant beat a life time warranty.... but theres one problem with this lifetime warranty... (which i am facing right now) what are you suppose to do when you send in the cage when it bends? ... thats going to be on your bike? at least 1 month down time for waiting to get it back (at least) ... mine has been bent since February and been wanting to buy another cage before i have to send mine to tygershark... this way i can ride and not have to wait for it to get back to me

now the new design with the cross member like apex is running is probly pretty damn strong

alright im done rambling

stunt-aid for life

Re: Best 05-06 636 cage

so its a toss up between si and tyger now i like the spring loaded sliders the tyger comes with, the si has no sliders. so the sliders are going to be another $40 so im looking at $260 for the si and 320 for the tyger. will the tyger hit in a drift tho or not can some tyger owners chime in.
