Re: Omr Or Powers???

Out of all the people that keep saying OMR, did anyone have a problem w/ the pegs not going in? Like the holders had to be spread out and the holes for the pivot pins didn't line up. How did the welds look?
Just wondering b/c Nick put one on his bike and after seeing what his looks like now that it fits I don't know if OMR is what I want.
Sell me.

Re: Omr Or Powers???

I just got my subcage last week from OMR. I have an 06 636. It is awesome! It stiffened up the entire back of the bike! Not too mention, the customer service, I ordered it on a wednesday evening, had it by friday. :YEAH :YEAH :YEAH OMR all the way:YEAH :YEAH :YEAH

Oh if your thinking of powers and you want customer service or a phone call back etc, you can forget it. Dont return calls, emails etc.

I had the same problem putting one of the pegs in my OMR subcage on the 636, but it wasn't a big deal. 5 minutes with a dremel and the peg went right on. When you make that many subcages a minor flaw here an there is bound to happen. The subcage on my f4i and every other OMR subcage I have seen fit perfect with no modification. Plus the customer service is great and I got my subcage in 2 days.:YEAH

Re: Omr Or Powers???

Yes my right peg was a bitch, but after metion of it OMR immediately contacted me to to correct the minor adjustments. Any other company do that, and I had in like 4 days out to Hawaii. Not to mention solid and seems bomb proof and I'm 240ish. OMR, like you need to ask.

Re: Omr Or Powers???

as cjoec01 mentioned after talking to him and scott i made the right peg bracket a 32nd of an inch wider on the jig ..

i think over time cleaning the jig with a file made the block a little smaller then it was originally but it's all good now

All I got to say is I my buddy bobby ordered A powers 4 weeks ago and still has not got it...So for me It was Sick innovations or OMR but because OMR is A old mother ******, I decided to help him with his retirement fund by buying A sub cage from him.. Slowest thing about the order was probably the amount of time it took him to walk from his door to the UPS truck (prob took that old bastard A good half an hour to get the package to the truck!) but other then that it was here in 3 DAYS!! I have never waited such little time for A stunt part before in my life..lol..3 ******* days! Insane! I tip my hat to that old bastard every time I talk to him.. OMR FOR PRESIDENT!!!:YEAH

Re: Omr Or Powers???

I wasn't downing the product at all. I was just asking if anyone else had the problem. I am really thinking about getting one. I really don't like the look of the SI myself. And it was also the right peg on Nick's that didn't want to go. He just fixed it and never brought it up on here. I just figured I would ask b/c if I get one and have to shave it to get the pegs in it will be returned for another one. I think Roger, you are onto something w/ grinding the jig. I have seen stuff like that happen b/4. You tack so many up there and after a while you get just enough built up to where it throws the specs off just a hair. A hair can make a big difference on a finished product.
Looks like everyone has your back on your product so there must be something to it.

My friend got A cage from Powers over 2 month ago and is yet to see it. 3 days ago he sent them A angre letter that was A little out of control *aka threats and stupid ***** and told them to **** off because 2 months is basicly stealing from someone. He has yet to see the cage and I don't think they plan on sending one...He is A good friend of mine so I back him 100% when he said **** POWERS! seriously 2 months??? Thats crazy. He flipped his bike twice during that time with A home made cage on it and the bike got fucked. He is poor as **** and I just enterd him in The SI rafle for A new cage lol...Hope he wins because powers has done nothing but **** him! **** POWERS! period..
