So in January 20 2008 a bunch of us went riding, someone got pulled over, we stoped at parking lot and then like 5 cops showed up. Said they got complaints and **** they took our info and let us go.. Fast forward to today aug 29 2008, i get a certified letter in the mail saying im charged with reckless driving? 8 months later? WTF, can they do that?

 

they can try, just show up to court. probably dismissed real quick.

 

just plee "not guilty" sounds more like you got caught on a highway camera recently.for them to charge you for something in january doesn't sound right.but you never know nowadays

 

Yea im going to plead not guilty for sure, but it def was 8 months ago, it said on the letter lol. On the letter also there was like 10 other people, same charge, im pretty sure they were riding with me also.

fight that if they dont witness it they cant defend it in court.. show up and deny it.. they may have eye witnesses present.. but it DOESNT matter.. DENY it all and do not give them any thing that could be used against you.. if the cop didnt see u do it they will not get it, they'll try to make you slip up and admit to it

shitty deal Krazy Kyle and i went to a bike night last night and signed some wavers to ride from the owner of the parking lot. well to make it short cops pulled up i put my bike in the back of my truck in a hurry kyle was on his way to do the same cops swooped up on him gave him a reckless and inpunded his bike gay gay gay

 

No they cain't. You have to be issued the ticket at the time of the stop.

 

here in illinois its kind of fucked up i attended law school and here they actually have 7 years to processicute you but like they all said if they didnt charge you and give you a ticket at the time of the incident then a crime really was never commited id fight that ****

 

just it and say "i didnt do ****" and even say that they have proof say YOU want to see it. cause half of the time they dont and just try and get you to admit you did indeed do something wrong.
