i think we should have a 400 foot approach right down the front straight and then pick it up right before the turn and see who rolls the furthest but we gotta make it to the left cause i cant steer corners as well to the right lol
but cereally i think this would be a very fun stoppie comp to watch and to compete in......... cause if there is anything more fun than rollin long stoppies it rollin long stoppies around a turn or down a slope

I'm glad your still haveing the comp, but unless they've done something to the track I don't know about the surface sucks and theres always dirt in the in cross sections of the speedway. I lived in Melbourne FL for 26 years and have been to O-Town Speedway tons of times. NO LONGEST STOPPIE!!!!!!! **** THAT!!!!!! Way to drive away the crowd for next year. 0's and combos all day long, real exciting.

Yeah i looked at the pics, I just know that they don't maintain that place very well or at least they didn't when I lived there less than a year ago. also sense they have demo derbys and figure 8 races I know the surface doesn't stay nice that long. Like I said it's good that they're having the comp but I believe it would be in there best intrest to try to find another location for next year, one that can have longest stoppie contest, it's most certainly a crowd favorite.

Before everyone starts in on the "NO Long Stoppie comp", don't freak out LOL well as everyone know that the USA speedway in Lakeland sold and is now being demolished so with that happing at the last minute, we had a choice of going back to Lakeland Dragstrip or Going to Orlando so we moved it to Orlando, its for the better, So now that we are in Orlando we are working on getting the Main Dragstrip there for Jan. I like the long Stoppie comp myself so it may be back in play for the Jan. event things are looking good.

The straight is 475'............. we can have a long stoppie, the rider can start around the corner straighten up for 75 -100' and go around the corner..... the furthest one wins. Like Todd said we are also working on the dragstrip, we will have both tracks in the future hopefully, then we will have the best of both worlds.
