This is a Real quick open letter to respond to the Chuck Malott is mad at Bill McMahon thread.
#1 Chuck is right to be upset.
Early in the year, he bought a hb, db bars and the fork sleeve service. He doesn't mention it, but I thought he was a good guy and I gave him everything at cost (about 30% off). It doesn't matter though, he did pay quite a bit of money, his total for those three things was over $800 and he is entitled to prompt quality service.
Every single imposition he faced had a completely justifiable cause, but I'm not in the business of making excuses. Everything seemed to stack up against him and he had a rough experience. The one problem I will directly address is this..The guy broke 4 handbrake cables. He'd broken two before the ends were redigned. After this, no one else has had any trouble, but he has managed to break two more. This directly lead me to do something I should have done from the beginning. I contracted with Motion Pro to build the cables for that system to ensure that cable issues are a thing of the past.
So getting back to the title, how am I one step ahead of Chuck?
With a little better organization every concern he had could have been avoided. Lucky for me on the 8th of this month I flipped a stoppie at about 35 and fractured my left ankle (when the bike landed on my leg). This has given me down time that I otherwise never would have taken and gave me a great opportunity to take a good hard look at the big picture to see where I need to make some changes. Chuck is right, customer service has slipped this year. I became overwhelmed and should have brought more people in. I'm taking direct measures to pull things back into line.
For five years now I've been committed to bringing the best products to stunriding. I've aggressively worked to correct any problems that have ever come up with either a product or customer service. The point is, I'm on it. I know what needs to be done and am doing it. Had I not had the great fortune of getting hurt however, the Chuck Mallott Hates Bill McMahon thread would have been a pretty good eye-opener. If you've had a good experience in the past with my company, I hope you'll let us repeat the experience. If you had a bad one, and you find we are producing something you like, give us a call and let us make it up to you. We'll make it worth your while.

2nd: I don't hate you bill, you've always been a stand-up guy as i said before, just so happens, things happened and i felt like i got the raw end, whether it be on purpose or not.
I didn't post pricing or anything like that cuz i didn't think you would want it posted, but you did hook me up, but had i known the issues were coming with it, i would of passed. As i stated in my thread, i wanted to setup the 636 right and i called you.
Everything happens for a reason, thus my experiences have taught me to try out new products, etc... etc. which is why i will not be running the cable setup, well, that and the cable issues...
Anyways, glad to see you're working to solve the issues like i knew you would.

Bill and i had never got along on this site. because of a stupid i am right no i am right thread years ago. i never hated the guy. We finally met at K.O.S. 2 years ago. and put everything under the bridge. I think that bill is a great person now. seen how he came up and handled the situation very professional.
**** happens with every company and if there is any one that thinks they could run a flawless company then buy all means needs to try it.
