anybody notice if there lower throttle side plastic is melting??? just swapd my lowers and the right side has a bubble on the inside and the outside was kinda worped.....

havent had that prob on either of mine, might be an aftermarket fairing?? put some heat tape in there.

well i bought the bike from a real squid and he old put 500 miles on it and managed to crash it twice!!

so almost all the fairings are replacments.... i got green 06 6rr lowers to put on it and i saw how fucked the gray lowers were and got a little conserned.... i am going to see if i can get some heat wrap for the eahaust and put the stock heat shields on the lowers

the clowns on the kawiforums helped me out!!!

wraping a stock exhaust is not a good idea... that bitch will crack!!
but according to kawi MF there are heat shields that go on the inside of the plastics???
but all the freeks on the kawi forums say no?????
i got the melted pice in my car and i am going to the dealer today to see if they have ever seen this happen
