All this crap about stunt riding being boring to watch.....
I get pumped watchin any stunt vids. I used to watch AZ's Finest over and over and over again. Even videos of me squidin it up get me motivated to ride

Well since it is 8:47 am here you all know I am morethan likley drunk..lol
So I am going to rant a little bit. I think that this post has brought up some valid points. And in doing so it reminds me of one thing. WHY DO PEOPLE WATCH SHOW OFFS? because they are sitting there thinking CRASH right. so its not the best ridder that can go pro but maybe the worst. I say that you guys find me the worst stunter on the site and I will take them to the top..
Also what came first? the pitbull or the bike? As soon as I started ridding again I noticed more than half the people I met had pits..lol

I haven't read every page, nor am I going to, but to the OP and anyone else who doesn't think stunting COULD get big - You don't have the slightest idea of how close marketing and mass appeal work together. Sure, the act of stunting alone may not be all that great;however, if you can market yourself as a stunter that can bring in massive crowds whenever you do your thang, blowing cash on parts you use on your bike, then bam - you now have manufacturers' interest in you as an income producer. Couple this with ANYTHING you do - Hell, that's how half of todays fads are now money producers. Think of it - ten years ago to this date you'd probably be "WTF'ing" at some of the things making so much dough today that would of NEVER taken off back then.
Making money in anything simply requires making other people think they want it and will pay money for it.

look at how far stuntn has come in the last few years, just sayn...
if ppl watch it and its already as big as it is it has the chance of becomn a pro sport...

really, who cares just ******* ride, have fun, escape your everyday is the same ******* work week. an enjoy it. just ride cause you love to ride. an If your good enough things will work its self out. If everyone just rides maybe it will turn into something big. the main point is I dont stunt to make money or brag about mad skills, I do it because Its the part of my life that puts my mind at ease an keeps me from goin ape **** on every mother ****** that looks at me the wrong way when im slavin away in a ******* tire factory!!!! just my thoughts on it

Just thought id share this, all you who think and talk about stuntriding getting big? It never will so stop talking about it. X-games this, bullshit that. I love riding just as much as anyone on this site, maybe more, (when something is not broken on my body) but when you really think about it, stuntriding is just one big show-off deal.. Stuntriders including myself are nothing but show-offs, and im not saying thats a bad thing, its just what it is.. I hope riding never gets big, because i like how it is like this, underground.. I love people who do nothing but try become pro and still dont go anywhere.. Wanna be a pro stunter? Then you wanna be broke? What maybe some tv time, a couple tires some spare parts, and if your bill d, win almost every comp and maybe make a couple g's? It aint going anywhere , and it never will and i hope it stays that way. Wanna make money in the stunt world, find a loop hole and build something and market it.:YEAH i dont want to insult anyone saying this, its just how i feel and i think a few others but no one will say it, so i did... Hope i didnt offend anyone...
damn you're wrong ... oh so wrong ... go back under the rock you crawled under from dude ... stuntriding keeps getting bigger year by year ... i used to skateboard and ride bmx when i was younger and it was the beggining of this **** then xgames came out and ppl just making $$ from it ... promotions, sponsorships, plenty of opportunities just gotta be good and get ur name out there, and this sport is not a show off sport cause then everything would be show off (drifting, bmx, motocross whatever) there are riders that do this to show off cause they get a hard on when ppl look and say wow hes nasty, and there are ppl that do this cause they just wanna ride, so get your head outta ur *** and get with the program buddy ...

There are those in the industry that continue to fight for it. It will happen, and anybody who is remotely involved will benefit from it. Maybe not financially, but we'll all benefit from it. The work people are doing now, the results will be seen in years to come. Just like anything that is built from the ground up.

whats real funny is that all of you people who say its boring to watch are the same people I never see at events with thousands of fans who are enjoying the boredom..
if you are riding at the lot with your friends or watching videos of yourself and thinking.. "Stuntriding is BORING AS HELL TO WATCH"
