Re: tank dent

I think the flat dents are better for acros, head stands, **** like that. I kinda did an in between dent to mine. I got some surf grip going on it tomorrow.
I would have done more of an o town dent but I started getting a pretty bad crease towards the back so I stopped.

that looks good didnt even chip the paint it looks llike, and to the other post that looks good. maybe im thinkin to much but i would think with flat dent would catch you better for jumpin to 50/50 and speader and o town would be easier to get out of

that exaclty what i think is the differance, my top dent held me better but my o-town dent is better for pull throughs and has a little wider area to land in. the surf grip helped alot it added a nice lip. im gonna keep the o-town dent for a little while .

Re: tank dent

Steve, your surf grip looks ghetto. Mine is going to be pimp. LOL!

My paint did chip in a few areas. I sanded them down some and I'm going to spray rust converter paint on in tonight. Then tomorrow the pimp surf grip goes on.

flat - acros, kinda sucks for spreaders and frogs.

o-town - pull thoughs, sucks to jump to if its deep.

o-town dent + surf grip =

definitely agree with the acro statement but i think its easier to do acros on an otown dent than it is to wheelie on a flat dent

Re: tank dent

So what do ya think... 1 month?? Then there will be a thread title "My sv is dead".

Same with the ninja 250, it was great for Jr to learn on but yeah it lasted 1 month! It would have been cheaper in the long run to buy the better bike. Live and learn though buddy, Live And LEARN!

Re: tank dent

for me if its too deep my butt wont go in it so i slide out easier on tank o's also its harder for me to do tank o's on the o-town dent but super easy to do pull through's... i like the dent to be as flat as possible with a good lip in back... but who's knows im just fat 6'1 255+ but still can pull through and do all the tank o's
