thumb rear break?

i always thought it was a bad idea for stunting but i cant do clutch and break with me 2 fingers. its imposiable for me to do. but with a hohey duel caliper and a thumb break i thought id be able to do it. i know bill d has been using a thumb throttle but i dont know anyone with a thumb break. maybe it could be a good idea.

Re: thumb rear break?

Why is it impossible for you to do? Injury to your hand? Or you just can't figure it out because of not enough seat time?

The thing is, for one, removing your thumb from the bar removes a LOT of control.

and 2, thumb brakes don't have a lot of force, they MIGHT work ok with a dual caliper setup, but I still dunno if you can get enough force out of one for it to work good for stunt riding.

Re: thumb rear break?

The website he posted says the billet handlebar brake will lock up a motard or dirt application.
