i dont think the f4i clip ons flip so well, ive heard of ppl doing it but i tried it and there was grinding and **** that had to be done and it was all together not safe. buy some vortex and flip those.

Re: clip on question?

ya 636 clipons flip and switch good cause they come out at the middle but unless you have a 929 954 front end on you f4i they wont work cause they are bigger then the stock f4i clip ons

Re: clip on question?

You can flip F4i clipons with out worrying about it.. I used a dremel and slowly grinded away untell it fit. it wont get thin or week or nothing. tell you the truth they were stronger than my vortex. My vortex have bent down.. Ive been riding on them for about 7 months and I need new tubes .So go for it. actualy other than grinding the onlything you gotta do is drill a new hole in the throttle side bar for the little pin that holds the throttle assembly from rotating.

the bolts wont line up anyway if you have em flipped n turned straight, because remember when they are in the stock location they are angled back

nope you donīt need them, the single screw will hold up fine, I have 636 clips that way on my 954 and though I used the right tourqe on the screw it was so tightened that it dented my fork when I crashed hard, so you see the 2nd screw that goes in the triple is not necessary, itīs just to make sure that every dummie can mount it in the right position on stock bikes.
