Re: 06 636 stunt stay

I think there's a guy named jonnyP (or some variation of the spelling) on here that makes some very strong stays.

I sell tucker rockey, don't sell to them.

I haven't decided on a final design for the 05 06 and the Bike I was using t0 build them on isn't around anymore. Its the only one I have been looking to buy but haven't found , so unless you get me the bike or I find one no love for you guys, thats why you cant buy them on the website right now.

The Naarden Stay looks

If you don't want to wait, 905 redesigned their stay for the 05-06 636 and it has more support and the upper cross brace by the windscreen...

it looks like it has alot more support than the stock airbox setup
when i layed my bike down the upper bracked cracked as well as my air box.
i heard of air boxes cracking from coming down from wheelies too hard
and i think they also support the front upper from going over on doing endos and the cross bar will give it support from the weight of ur legs going over the front in stunts.
im such a noob in this stunt ****. i dont even know what the stunts are called
but u gotta start somewhere

Re: 06 636 stunt stay

kawi factory stays are supported by the plastic ram air tube and it breaks just from putting dow a wheelie too hard and on the 03 04 636 that also causes the radiator to get ripped apart cause the top of the radiator is bolted to the frame and the bottom is bolted to the plastics so a stunt stay is a must on the 03 04 636

i only make stunt stays for local installs because there are so many different set ups that one design doesn't work well for every one so i just make custom stays for each bike some one brings me

Re: 06 636 stunt stay

I havn't started stunting yet but want to after i make my move (moving from the east coast to the west). Is there like a compiled list of stuff you have to watch out for braking? i never would have thought of an air box busting out from wheelies i feel im going to be paying for alllllot of stuff the first few times i hit a parking lot
