This summer has been FUCKED UP.. Amongst local riders in my area.. Heres a lil list

Aprilla Mille- Wrecked.. buddy that is the owner is a 54 year old german buddy that has had track days all over the world.. U can take him in the straights.. but not in the corners

2 Busa's crashed - both experiend riders.. didnt know them

A friends army buddy crashed his GSXR out in the curvys.. dislocated hip.. broken ribs..

aanother buddy of mine - his brother wrecked in cali.. Serious injurys including a broken neck!!

Now that im thinkin about it i cant even think of all the Deaths we've had this summer localy.. A few squids dui drunk wrecks..

and saturday.. I wrecked my minty f4i in some twistys-


WTF IS WITH ALL THE WRECKS THIS SUMMER??

I know more ppl that have wrecked this summer i jus cant put it all together cuz theres so ******* many!


I went out on gravel/debri on the road in the twistys.. ON THE SAME ****** ROAD my german buddy on his Aprilla Mille wrecked on!

I was going to say ... "that's just part of stunting, we all expect it" until I read your post....

I had a few summers like that a few summers ago deaths and **** tho...... It honestly makes you think twice every time you kick your leg over the thing, if you ride streets alot.

I used to hate it when my wife gave me a kiss when I was leaving. I'd tell her to stop kissing me like it was her last time she would ever kiss me!! So it can effect everyone to a point.... I'd take lot odds over street odds anyday! especially considering the gravity of injuries!

same **** every year, and everyone i know says the same thing lol...."this year has been real bad". i see it as the same ****, ppl crash, sometimes im one of them sometimes not. its riding, im comfortable with it.

 

In my area I can tell you its all a bunch of squids mostly. I see all these riders with brand new GSXR 1000's and CBR1000 and they can barely turn the bike up the exit ramps but yet try and do 150mph or pull wheelies. Riding has definitely grown popularity over the past few years and more and more people are getting on bikes without properly learning how to ride first. Thats just my opinion haha

As for the more seasoned riders, it happens to the best of us. Its not if you go down but When will you go down.

 

even more people just buying aa bike for the first time because of gas prices

 

yea which is silly when you figure in **** like frequency of maint. and the prices of that... plus how quickly you go through tires and ****, higher insurance rates, and gear cost...
Then if it's a sport bike.. and you are into it alot. which who isn't?? I haven't ever had a tank last more than 120 miles before the gas light comes on. That's not really that good considering.

I thought that way when I got my first bike and I only got 100miles tops before the light on my Aprillia Mille came on...

 

The curves are dangerous. Im a stunter lots only. I like my life. to manny crazy drivers out there

 

speaking of wrecks i just went down.... doin 12 at like 15 to 20 mph. an leaned back a little more got scared jumped off... the bike went down pretty hard an i have a torn ligament an stretched my knee even more on the way down... so my knee is swollen right now... cracked my radiator my moose lever completly twisted my bars ... all i gotta say is fi cage sucks ***... an now my bike wont start.... the motor is spinning but it wont spark up an turn on... any advice???

thats the life of a rider.

a buddy of mine that just started riding got hit.

good guy, wife, 2 kids, doing everything right.

some bitch ran a stop sign and killed him.

last summer we lost 8 riders in seperate incidences all on the same day.

it just happens, we know this, and we accept this everytime we ride.

 

word up. all part of rockin a bike.

 

yeah iv seen it alot more since gas prices have gone up. alot of good people going down but at the same time its true more than half of them dont know what the hell they are doing on a bike. i work at a motorcycle dealership and a guy perchaced a new bike and when i was explaining how the whole thing works he tried to start the bike by turning the key in the gas tank. and when i showed him the ignition i then explained that with a suzuki you need to hold in the clutch he looked around the bike and proceded to hold the front brake.... he couldnt even take it off the lot he had to wait hours for a friend to ride it home for him and he drove a car... i mean damn he had no business buying a bike duy didnt know a damn thing about it....

 

This has been a fucked up year for wrecks. A buddy of mine here in Atlanta got T-boned by a caddy running a red light. Another friend looped a spreader and almost broke his back. Weird stuff.

 

Get a SI cage haha. Are any of your engine cases cracked?

#1 reason more squids than ever

 

they use the excuse that they want to save gas but they never wear any gear they drive like morons and they all think that they are better then everyone else .and think that they know everything .where i live all these kids 17 and 18 years old thier parents have to cosign for them to buy a bike but don't have enough sense to make them buy the proper gear .they pick up a brand new bike in there flip flops cago shorts and a wife beater and about lose it leaving the parking lot what the F are the parents thinking would they let there kids go out and play football with no pads??
