Field armor shorts ???

Anyone try these Icon Field armor Shorts, I landed on my hip last week and Im lucky I had on my thickest Icon jeans (Anthem Pant).
Actually, I usually hit my hip in a fall. They are worn under jeans
There not really padded, but like the jeans, being thicker helps and you wont get rash because of aramid fiber (kevlar)
Thanks

And to whoever posts the pick for me

Re: Field armor shorts ???

if u need then u need them. i just bought the icon armor vest, i haven't been able to use it because my stunt bike is in the shop , but i love it, and from everything i've heard they r life savers...if not life savers they save u from alot of pain and heat exhaustion. i don't think i'll go as far as to buy those. as long as my head and chest r ok i'll take the road rash, and my tattoos don't get fucked up

Re: Field armor shorts ???

If you are twisted over these thick underwares or an OMR subcage, go and buy the Subcage man!!!!!

If you are riding in a lot these wont do that much, i mean ur guna fall and bust ur *** but those wont stop u from having a sore *** will they....? I think they would save you more from road rash if you were traveling at speed.

Get a back protector, shin/knee pads, and elbow pads for the lots.

These ginch things would really (in my eyes) prevent road rash, not bruising of the *** checks.....

Re: Field armor shorts ???

I bought a pair of bohn-armor after a nasty fall last year right on my ***(tail bone) after getting them I never really fell on that spot again.... so can't say how they would help.. after wearing them though with the side pad and tail bone pad in place i'd say just get some chick to so a little extra padding on your fav'riding pants, cause in order to work they have to be ******* tight..and they don't breath so its pretty uncomfortable. im sure they'd help a little though, so whatever makes you feel comfortable go for...just my 2cents
