bikes with 3/4 fairing WITHOUT the side fairings trimmed down look stupid as hell.

i took the upper of the 636 today, and it looks ridiculous.

 

I agree, 3/4 bikes with no trimming looks tacky to me.

 

Always bothers me too.

 

I would just pop the windscreen off and cut down the uppers a bit but hey to each their own.

not a fan.. the exposed mounting tabs and the sharp point where they are supposed to meet the upper maks the bike look un finished.. cut and riounded mak it look like its meant to be that way...

 

might be ugly, but if someone wants to ride without risking breaking the upper and ******* headlights up, they take it off.. it doesn't make sense to **** up the tabs on the fairings just cause its ugly. then when it comes time to go full fairing again, oops!

Quit spending so much time worrying about what everyone else is up to, and work on your own ****, and maybe one day you can ride a half decent wheelie!

my roommate is that guy. I get a fresh 636, he's like o it sucks. I gear it, cage, subcage, SF it, o that's gay. it doesnt ride good, brakes are weak, it looks dumb, blah blah ******* blah.

homie rides a CLAPPED OUT f4i.. **** leaks oil everywhere, makes funny *** sounds, all the plastics are stitched together and his EZ pull is harder than stock clutch! he's a hater!

 

I dont mind the look but I wouldnt keep it 3/4 for too long. If you ride the street at all the wind resistance is ridiculous. I rode mine for a few weeks like that but I would never cut my side farings without having an extra set. FF looks too damn good on the 636

Im not hating on anything. and not worried about what anyone else is doing, everyone can do whatever they like as far as im concerned.

Just when i took my upper off, i realized how silly my sides looked TO ME and wondered if anyone else felt this way.

I couldn't agree more, I especially hate the way rr's look with no upper and untrimmed .

 

Bikes that are not full faring look stupid no matter what, even if you trim it, or take it all off it looks like **** compared to a nice clean full fairing bike.

i just cant buy into that whole mentality. Its a stuntbike yes, and its not gonna be perfect. But still i like my stuff to look as nice as i can reasonalbley keep it.

Would you rather watch someone riding a pile of smashed ****, or a nicely done bike? nah mean

 

If they're killing it, it dosen't matter, if they're trying it doesn't matter. But I do kind of get what your saying.
