got a ? does any one no if turning up the idol on an 05 gsxr 600 to 3000 will make the header pips glow red?

WTF i dont no any thing about that **** my f4i does not do that plus the gsxr is not mine its a friend he just called and told me to make a post cause his **** is glowing. i figured someone on hear would have some real info on this not some lame as squid **** as usual.

 

they will glow red if the bike is dumb hot...and yer fan and working....

 

this good or bad? cause the yer fan and working part is confusing.

how does asking a question about something being wrong with a bike have any thing to do with squidleyness ? i am not giving advice i should not or am i saying im the #1 stunter im simply asking a question about a friends bike. i just want some advice on what 2 do if its bad

and u miss understood what i ment about the squid **** i was not telling him he was a squid i was saying that the squid comment is used for no apparent reason.i dont come on hear to do the O so gay internet battle yet it is sometimes fun to read some of the comments and what not. i come on hear for advice from people who have been around the block with bikes and stunting to further help when it is needed. i thought that is what this site was for just a guy in need of some advice didn't no that was a squid thing.

it shouldnt glow unless it is WAY too hot, make sure the fan is working and maybe even wire it up to stay on when the key is on. havent had any problems with mine overheating and when I was learning idle I had it turned up to like 4500 and still didnt overheat.

no mods on the bike, PC3 was pulled out, sprocket kit and a chopped stock can (if you consider those mods) motor is bone stock

do the GSXR's have a mixture screw like the F4i? hes got a piece of hose attached to whatever **** is under there to crank his idle. making the bike run lean will raise the idle and make the headers cook.
