if you are not changing it looking for an edge, just get a hold of bill at full throttle inc he makes new machined lower legs that are thicker metal than the original paper thin lower legs and then you will be broken fork leg worry free!!! I think it costs a few hundred.

on another note I know a 05 zx10 front end works too, but you have to press your 03/04 stem into the 05 zx lower triple, and then you can use your stock top triple and everything else from the 10 front. the 10 front is quite a bit shorter and PITCHES up on stoppies kinda freaky. like it's not coming up at all and then YANK!!!!!

Re: 636 front end problems

Full Throttle no longer does the sleeves. I wouldn't worry about the fork snapping problem. Think of all the people riding and how many people have actually had a problem. I think it's like getting struck by lightning, it doesn't happen all that often. If you do want to change them though you will need the 05-06 rotors and a 05-06 front fender everthing else is interchangeable.

Re: 636 front end problems

full throttle found a solution to fix the 636 forks, problem is, i think he's gonna stop doing the solution because nobody wants to pay for the service.....yet another instance where stunt riders don't care about saftey lol

Re: 636 front end problems

if you get 05-06 all you need to do is put the fork tubes on 05-06 rotors and your good to go hope that helps

Re: 636 front end problems

Wasnt the issue a maintenance issue?

And didn't a couple people snap their 05/06 forks as well?

I don't know. I've seen plenty of people rock over 400-500 foot endos on stock 03/04 front ends without any issue. And I've heard about less than like 7 people say they've snapped them.
