So they could just tap some threads into that cone-looking end, and replace the rivets with some screws/bolts.

ok i was wrong mine is only allen keys so i can actually pop the tip off and replace it.... now the pipe i have is a CUSTOM... well 2 off now because Kane had the same ones. I'm sure they would be more than happy to accommodate and make pipes for us, tuned for us, designed by us...... If were putting the money back into the companies. if co's like FMF see a return they are going to want to help our industry out more and more.

thats tight man :YEAH

but fill me in, how do you see this company "helping" us?

id have to presume that theyre just trying to prey on the stunter market, and nothing else. i dont really see how they can do so much as to promote this sport.

well they are one of the first well known vested companies to step up and provide major funding for the XDL. The XDL goes out of its way to take care of riders, free entry, food, setup, etc... that money has to come from somewhere. correct? with out major series sponsorship events like the xdl series wouldn't go on.

as for preying on the stunt word.... do you think they are really need to focus on the stunt world if they didn't want to? they are the most known and respected off road pipe on the market. they make their money back 10 fold on any ama event..... do you think they are banking off xdl? they do this to support a growing sport. not to say they dont want money but It seems to me its all about the growing industry as a whole.

Good ****. Hopefully they will sell just that piece then.

I don't even have undertail exhaust, but it's a pretty cool option. And would be better than spending another arm and leg for a whole new pipe.

unbiased input on WHAT? they make kick *** pipes, i haven't ran a full length pipe in YEARS, my bike had a noticeable power difference, and i always thought that pipes were just for looks too.....a pipe makes a big difference on your bike's power, especially idle pull, the most important part of the power band on a stunt bike

speaking of power bands, i heard tony l is going to start selling power bands at great price!

never run a full system, it will sap all your low end power.

glad so see more companies stepping up

Re: FMF RACING Steppin it up to support our sport (FMF & XDL)

Got an FMF spark arrestor on my KTM dirt bike... It blows! I mean, not only exhaust, it won't seal to the head pipe (expansion chamber) the thing rattles, and power has to be Atleast 10% less (with just the Muffler!) than the stock pipe. stock pipe isn't a spark arrestor so it is not legal for any "non-closed course" application. The expansion chamber I had from FMF fell to pieces while less than a year old, so the stock one is back on. more than a year on that. KTM better than FMF? all signs point to yes.

This is not to say that I'm against FMF in the stunt world. I just don't agree w/ the above statements about FMF producing the best or even one of the best off-road exahusts.
