f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

selling 900rr and i hear f4i is a tank. does that mean the frame is strong AND the motor holds up for a long time? and i hear that 636 is more fragile but funner to ride. i dont hear much about the 600rr except its a tight fit for a bigger guy. im 6'2 185 so i dont know how well that would work. trying to decide between f4i and 636. are there more parts available for the f4i? i am just learning idle seat standers and staggered and sitdowns. any input would be nice try not to be an *** i know its kind of a newb question

if you are switching from the 900 like I did you will LOVE a f4i I've ridden both f4i and 636, I like the f4I better I'm on my second f4I now. and I am 6' 7" so theres enough room for me on a f4I. the 636 does hove more power but I love everything else about the f4I

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

ya im switching from 900. figured i better get a 600 now that im riding idle and wanna learn more. i also just want something newer. im deciding between f4i and 636 mainly. i like to ride the streets as much as i like the lot so i was wondering if that changes any opinions on f4i vs. 636? i love streets and lots lol

Everyone says the 636 has a better idle...but the F4i is stronger frame wise though.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

i think the 636 will make a better lot and street bike, stock gearing idle is easy and with kleen mod pulls like a tank

if you are goin striaght lot get an f4i and gear the **** out of it

or get both, thats what i wanna do

it'll rock the streets just as well. maybe smoother than the 636. you'll learn way faster on the f4I, takes abuse and starts up and runs strong the next day.
I got to where I could do staggered circles, coasters, scrapes, no handers, like 1 sitdown circle at a time and a few seat standers circles at a time with the 900, switched to the f4i and I loved it and my riding blew up from there.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

i like the 636 but don't rule out the 600rr because i have a cure for it being too small..an omr subcage

i relocate the rear pegs down back and out on all 600 rr's for a roomier feel

that's a bad *** bike, just has a thinner balance point, great power though. I'm going to hold out and do the 1000RR for my next switch.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

lol i know you do omr. you are the only reason i know that the 600rr is cramped for wheelies. i know it is a overall cramped uncomfortable bike just from what i have heard. i cant do circle on the 900 but i can ride idle. i just need a newer bike so im tryin to figure out all the pros and cons. its gonna be a street and lot bike. whatever i get i wanna set up the right way from the beginning. planning on si cage and subcage and full throttle hb and all those goodies. the 900 is just rigged up with hb and sprocket.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

I sold my 900 because it was a heavy pig for learning lows stuff, but it rocked for street stunts or in a decent industrial area. I have the F4i now which I'm pretty happy with, parts are getting had to find because so many squids are crashing them and snatching up all the goodies on ebay! The F4i is better suited for a taller person, I'm 5'11 and I have pretty long arms, its a bit more comfortable than my buddies R6 that I used to stunt.... I did like that R6 as well....

id go with an F4i to start.... its pretty tough.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

636s are good bikes but they are uncomfortable as **** if you are that tall. f4is are ******* nice and stretched out. if you get a 63 you might end up with a fucked up back. try one out first though and see how you like it.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

I have a 600rr and I am 6'2 205 and its roomy enough for me its not a 929 or 954 by any means but its also not cramped and yes it has a high and verrrrry narrow balance point for both stoppies and wheelies and I don't have a subcage but that is definatly on the list. As for durablilty, I hear that the subframes are weak but I have yet to scrape mine but it holds me up on staggered wheelies. I would say stick w/ one of the Hondas man.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

Just get a few different ones like I did! But seriously I went from the 9 double to the 4i and its a great bike! I have ridden both and Like the f4i best. If you are worried about height weight issues I'm 6'5" 275 LBS and I have no issues!

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

my unpopular opinion is that f4i's are outdated pieces of ****..i had one and hated it, they never run seem to run right. my best friend has one and its nothing but problems, were working on it more than he rides it. theyre gutless and very rarely does anyone make them look good. i think the 636 is where its at, super smooth power great looks on either model and plenty durable if its set up correctly. not a big fan of the 600rr either but it was alot more fun than my f4i. i think you should be a baller and get a 675!! thats what i want for my next bike.

Re: f4i vs 636 vs 600rr

the daytona 675 would be awesome but im still learning and want something that has a reputation to hold up well to stunting. sdfkillz, you dont look like you wreck much.. you seem like a clean smooth rider and thats what i would rather be. i hate watching my buddies trash their bikes. thats why i want a full fairing 636 to rock. i cant afford to wreck a lot and i dont want to either. i wrecked for first time the other day learning idle and that **** hurt. i grabbed throttle when i was goin down lol newb mistake
