Death Squad, first rounds XDL/IMSRA
Death Squad, first rounds XDL/IMSRA
Just shy of 3 weeks on the road, lots of good times with lots of good friends.
So much happened I can't really put it into a short enough post to keep up with my own, let alone others ADD so I'll just footnote it all for you guys.
Albuquerque, NM : June 7th-10th
Supper session with the CO kids. All of you high elevation riders are champs. If you think you can ride, try it at 4K plus elevations! Thanks for making it down there. Thanks to everyone for swapping out Lins motor. And the hospitality given by the Outermost camp. Sorry about the mess Burn.
Stuntwars WI: June 11th-13th
So much fun. In the end I loved the track layout. For being an outsourced event. The end result was a well put on show for the spectators. Who cares about Bubba, **** happens and the SW staff runs stunt events not concerts. It was great to meet a lot of the locals who I wouldn't have had a chance to if it wasn't for it being held so far North.
On a side note, stop acting like ****** idiots when people aren't watching. I love to cause a ruckus as much as the next guy. But when you have riders trying to make a living doing this as a sport have some respect for them and DON'T **** up the venue.
North East: June 14th-20th
Joe Dryden and family took care of a **** load of dirty scumbags as we crashed at Momma Ds house. Wicked fun, kickstands and wheelies was dope. Riding with Teach at his haggard *** day spot was awesome. And New Hampshire hates me, I'm still walking funny from eating **** all over the place. Lobster feast 08, good times, being in the green, priceless.
XDL NY: June 20th-21st
Despite perhaps the worst surface to date (HINs doing), another well ran program. Increasable talent pool. And I was proud to see so many west coast kids make the pilgrimage to help progress the sport. I don't think I deserved to win, and I was definitely not happy with my run. Congratulations to all the riders, I'm really happy to see so many gifted freestylers in the US.
Stuntfest OH: June 22nd
Starboyz run perhaps one of the most fun contests I've seen. It sucks we only made it there for the last day. I also know now that I can't ride for **** in the rain and being in Vegas has spoiled me, haha. I'm really looking forward to making the PA event so I can try to get my hands on that bike!!
Home: June 25th
I've never driven so much, all I want to do is ride my motorcycle, and I'm looking forward to seeing all my friends in Tennessee!
Special thanks to the people who put up with my the longest:
E and Lin – Death Squad!!!!
Matt – My camera guy has less shame than your camera guy
Joe - you're the man!
Twite – making me feel like a ***** behind the wheel
Foto – capturing the moment
Shin – super inspiration to kill myself
Tony – if you say punch the midget again, I will **** myself in public!! haha
Teach – Pushing my ***
Everyone – for being there for the sport
