I need help on stoppies

OK Enough is enough. Someone tell me how to keep the bike straight. I got 02 Gsxr1000 I am starting them at about 40 mph and the back end keep kicking around to the right on me. I feel like I am getting up high enough. Its pissing me off..

center yourself on the bike and get the rear end up quicker. Then you have to steer the bike to keep the rear end from going left or right by pushing on the left clip on if the going to the left or pushing on the right one if the going to the right. Height is important otherwise the technic doesn't work very well.
Keep your elbows stiff and always look forward not down.

Hope that helps

is it smarter to hit the brake and get it up, or a gradual pull, I hate slow just dead stop stoppies but all i got right now is 5 footers. Basically its just practice and that i will do. but i swing left and/or right a lot. I just turn a little so i don't land side ways and crash over my self. But your saying go ahead and pull up higher and then if it has started to sway i can just turn into it and it'll be fine? Thanks in advance!
