636 and tiger shark cage problem

ok so about 3 weeks ago i fucked my motor due to oil starvation ,the motor was only half on the oil window and the bike went and it starved it self of oil.............so now i have a new motor and this time my oil level is above the window my only problem now is .... how do i stop roll overs with a tiger shark cage? this is an exsamlpe of what im talking about

and if it does roll over (on to the tank) will it starve again?............ i dont really fell like changing motor every time it rolls

anyone else have this problem?

Re: 636 and tiger shark cage problem

Your bike starved itself of oil because it was running while on it's side, not because it rolled over onto the tank.
The lesson here? If your bike is riding away without you on it, don't be a slack ***** and walk after it, run instead. If you had killed it quickly after it had gone over, it wouldn't have spun a big end.

Sounds a bit like you've overfilled the new engine with oil too

Top of site glass is all you need. Sorry to here about your motor, atleast you have spare parts for the new motor.
In that pic you look like your 20-30ft. away from the bike, were you practicing driftling and high side?

Re: 636 and tiger shark cage problem

you could always put a tether on your kill switch.

don't know how much it would interfere with your riding though.

I think he just used that pic to show what he meant, that's not him or his bike.

I'll let him explain how it happened.

Looks like you were playing leap frog. And you had so much fun, that you kept going across the parking lot by yourself.
