NO! Do not buy direct from Stuntex....it is not well worth your money because you will not get your part. I dont know why or what happened to dude but he will not send out my pickup that I payed for...hmmm g I have lost count of how long ago. I heard from peolple here he got all mad because I posted up a comment here about the issue. Regardless he has my sixty nine dollars and I do not have a pickup....thats the bottom line...so unless you get one from someone else used I doubt you'll get anything from Mr. Ryan Smith...Although he will respond to you if you want to send him out some money..oh by the way he prefers money orders but will take anything....lol F ing crook!

As long as you don't LOSE pressure, I don't see how it could pull harder on idle..

I ran a pickup, it ended up just being a head ache. When I droped my bike, it lost pressure for over a minute

I took that **** out, haven't had a problem since.

Thats ALL the pickup is for a f4i

Its just a small metal ring with a tab to let you turn the stock pickup around, and a gasket to hold hte oil in the back of the pan.

Honestly, if you run at least 4 quarts of oil, you wont lose pressure on a f4i unless you keep it ON the bar
but when you put an oil pickup on, you ALWAYS lose pressure in endos. I lose pressure just rolling a 5 foot endo!

When I'm rolling out 50 foot +, I just see the light lit up down there the whole time

Re: oil pickups.

Its cause it is getting better oil flow to your motor you can ask anyone that has one and they will agree...........Ya for a f4i it is not a nec like a gsxr but it is good cheap insurance in my opinion

I had one

for like a month

only things I noticed is A: didn't lose pressure if I left the bike on the bar running, without one, if it stays on the bar for more then 2-3 sceonds, it loses pressure
B: when I droped my bike, it would lose pressure for about a MINUTE! after 30 seconds of no pressure I could hear the valves clanking way more, and sounded like grinding sounds.. Then right when the pressure came back it got all quiet again
C: in endo's you lose all pressure, even lil pop-a-stoppie endos

I didn't notice any increase in idle power

But thats just me, if it works for you great. I didn't like it, was a pain in the *** for me.

Considering its damn near $100, and isn't NEEDED, I skip out on it

ended up selling mine for $20 less then I got it for :YEAH

edit: the one thing that gripes me about them, is the fact the gsxr ones cost the same as a f4i one, and the gsxr one is an actual pickup "tube" whereas the f4i is just a gay little gasket and ring lol

You really see him every night? Dud could you please some how get my pickup for me. I will kick you down something for your time.
