supspension set up
supspension set up
i made front forks stiff and back shock hard as i could. it was bouncin like crazy when i puched on it i figured that wasnt good for wheelies or corners. now it only bounces right back up when i push down on it. is that how you fellas set em up? any other tips with it i should know?
Re: supspension set up
I've never really messed with my shocks, i didn't really think about it.
I just had a guy who opened up a new shop in my area replace my seals and he told that he thinks the seals will last longer if teh shocks are not set really stiff. I guess mine were on the stiffest setting so he turned them down some. I've been meaning to see what everyone else is doing for fork stiffness. I was slamming the front end down a lot when learning circles.

Re: supspension set up
set it to?? stiff or bouncy? i know for racing you only want it to bounce back up once. not push on it and have it bounce up and down 2 or 3 times. i assume stunting isnt much different. i would say it reduces a little pogostick effect? correct?
