who has done it? do you have to lower your forks at all to get the clipons to stay on good??

thinkin about doin it and choppin my screen way low

yea what he said...unless your rockin like an 05-08 your screen is straight...
im not sure if you need to cut some off of your upper to allow room for the clip ons

Ive done it and it works well. I have an 06 and did have to cut my upper way down, but that is because I run my clipons flipped and pushed way out. You dont have to lower it hardly at all, there will be a little of the clip-ons not in contact with the fork but its not a problem.

My biggest thing is that it looks ugly as sin and you have to relocate your ignition. HoHey make a tripple that you dont have to flip but its mad money.

Its a good mod, try it!

if you have to lower your forks it wont be much and you wont even notice a difference.

That's how mine has been for the past 6mo.. Didn't have to lower the forks. You don't want to anyways cuz then you'll hit the fender w your upper and or you radiator on your tire.. There is enough meat for a lil mor than half of the clipon grabbing the for which is plenty. Or go spend $300+ dollars or whatever it is on the hohey tripple that makes room for huge clipons which is what i'll do eventually..

how far do you have to drill the screws out of the bottom of the ignition to get it out??

i used a drill bit about the size of the head and they just broke off after just a couple seconds.
