Re: Brake Fluid Boiling?

and change your fluid because once it happens the boiling point of the fluid goes down so it will boil sooner next time

Re: Brake Fluid Boiling?

Yup your probably on your brakes to much...I did that one time when I was trying to learn idles. I highly suggest changing your fluid because I crashed due to my **** boiling. Clutched it up...riding idle....dips back a lil...press the brake.....oh great not working haha

Re: Brake Fluid Boiling?

As stated above - Motul RBF600. Has a 592 degree boiling point. Go. Do it.

Re: Brake Fluid Boiling?

Try some EBC RBF307 or the Motorex Dot 4 they both have a super high boiling point.

Its the best, boiling point something like 594 f crazy. Hella expensive..like twenty bucks a bottle but worth it.

Ps...they say brake fluid is only good for a couple of days or so after you crack the seal. Moisture absorbs into brake fluid more and more as the bottle sits with its seal broken.. Recommend always buy a new bottle with a new seal. Goood Luck

Thats what I always thought and heard but OMR said that you dont gotta throw away and use a new bottle every time. He said as long as its closed youre good to go. BUT if I got a bottle sitting around for a long while I'll just toss it.
