Might be a dumb ?
Might be a dumb ?
So my 03 636 always gets a **** load of oil in exhaust when i go for stalls and end up on my 12, seriously, like 5 secs or more im burning white for an hour! WTF i did clean air mod, so why is it dumpin out like that, all my hommies dont do that ****
if i leave it at 12 for like 10 secs it literally will spill pure oil on the ground right out the can!

not tryin to be a dick but i said in first comment that i have clean air done bro Re: Might be a dumb ?
All my 636s are stock as possible. This includes not doing the oil bypass mod. I never have any oil problems or running issues. The key to the 636, don't park it, don't stall with both feet on the ground (unless its a touch and go), above all, ride it aggressively. Follow those guidelines and your bike will love you, making you in turn love it.
Re: Might be a dumb ?
dont want to sound like an ideot...but there only one way that oil can get into your exhaust, thats through the rings...am i wrong? if your leaking oil out the can then it must be rings? haha unless your pumping oil out your injectors or valve's...i would just double check compression and go from there...
Re: Might be a dumb ?
Almost all motors have a breather on the crank case and the valve cover. In the case of the 636 the crankcase breather routes up to the air box, something thats common on most modern engines. If a breather is positioned to where a motor can pump oil up the breather when at an angle, well, enough oil in the airbox = oil in combustion chamber.
