The Arai XD is awesome with the Visor removed. I think I have a picture of Kane somewhere wearing one. I'll see if I can find it.

Sure was but now it's got green fairings and a blue powderd frame:YEAH .......back then all i could do was a highchair and stagerd straight line....no stoppies because i didnt have any front brakes until wright before kots 08.

 

Thanks alot, tha was kinda the helmet i was looking for, it looks way more proffesional than a $50 db helmet.

 

only problem i ever had with the XD was that if you plan on riding streets at high speed with it, the wind blows up around the chin gaurd and into your eyes and face pretty bad...
an 80 mph standup on the freeway means a lot of blinking the tears out of your eyes to see...

other than that i always likes the look and feel of the XD

So I got home last night and my Shoei DS was there. Im not sure if I'm gonna keep it yet. The thing looked ****** HUGE compared to my regular DB helmet. I might exchange it for the Arai XD but not sure yet. I didnt have my DB helmet in the house w me and was too lazy to go outside to compare the 2 side by side. It did fit nicely though but I havent rode with it. One thing I did read on some review somewhere is what Kane just said about high speeds or just regular highway riding. Reason I bought the Shoei was because someone posted a review saying that the Shoei was better than the Arai when it came to that. Iono.

Maybe if I take the visor off like Kane did, it wont look so dam big.
