Since the release of the the new kit in early January there have been several instances in which the end ot the cable has seperated at the master cylinder. These cables were rigorously tested to exceed the demands put on them by a rider, however even one failure is too many, so the cable has been redesigned and proven to bear over 500 pounds without trouble. The hand brake kits shipped in the last week include the new cable, some riders have been notified and have been sent a replacement cable as well. I'm working to get replacements made for all of the kits sold up to this point, they should all be shipped within the next week and a half to two weeks at the latest. I'm sending out notification via mail, however if you own one of these kits and are seeing this, or know someone that does, please let them know to refrain from using it until replacement arrives in order to avoid death or injury. If you would like a longer or shorter length cable than you originally received, that can be accomodated too. I apologize for any incovenience or ill will this creates, I strive to make the best quality products possible and would never intentionally put anyone at risk.
