zx6r

does anybody run a 2000-2002 zx6r i know its carbed but i dont have any problems but im new. i wanna know what kind of problems i will run into if i keep it

I WOULD THINK FOR FUEL STARVING THE MOTOR, AND THAT WOULD BE UR BIGGEST PROB WITH CARBS

i can ride wheelies pretty far at least a mile and it hasnt bothered yet. i cant do slow ones yet thought

i bought the bike used it has stock exhaust with a micron pipe so im not sure if it has been jetted yet

i had one for a while and the frame problem is usually caused by loose motor mounts..

none i can think of but carbed bikes are gonna have more issues then a fi bike just because they are carbed .

I gotta say...if you're going to keep it, don't let all the weather get to it TOO much, they're not a bike that likes alot of rain (don't get me wrong, don't not ride it in the rain, just don't go over the top with the wet...I did used to keep mine outside overnight though!)

i had a 99 i was able to get to circles with it good long endos slow stuff but the frame cracked during mid endo excellent carbd stuntbike cant do stalls if u do it cant be on balance for more than 5 seconds without bein under a load!

my 2000 didn't like being dropped much.. seemed like it'd misfire and run rich (float levels..) every time it took a hard hit on the side. PITA to maintain, but if you like working on your bike after every session, then by all means!

that said.. it wasn't bad to learn on, at all. taught me brake control and everything else... now i have a 05 and the difference is huge.. the 636 is like riding with training wheels on.
