Re: Stuntriders give cops Headaches!!

the only "stunters" that ruin it for everyone else are the ones who can't control their own wheelies...makin it look like every rider does them making all of us targets.. FTP..also does America have that new law out from street racing? Canada has that law plus if your going 50+ over the speed limit you get 7 days without liscense an vehicle plus 2 -10 grand worth of fines..does America have this also?

Re: Stuntriders give cops Headaches!!

kansas city was pretty bad last year. this year alot of the street guys have bought stunt bikes or race bikes to get off the streets. this should make the kansas hipo happy! yeah right its going to happen no matter what. bike dealerships are still selling bikes and 99% of the new bike buyers want to wheelie, so theres not much we can do!

quote from article...

In Kansas City, police from several agencies in the region met in June to discuss what to do.

"It's getting worse," Capt. Dek Kruger of the Kansas Highway Patrol told The Kansas City Star. "Aggressive motorcycle driving is an issue throughout the metro area. We're seeing 'em popping wheelies on the interstates and performing stunts on the street."

they should get involved with county officials and designate closed buisnesses with large parking lots as our areas of practice . . . with the economy dropping you all know your seeing more vacant commercial spots opening up . . .go about it in a mature , professional manner and see what happens ,

I was tagged with a class 4 felony, max sentence of 5 years in prison for doing 140 on my bike in 2006, charged with fleeing a peace officer.. I plea bargained out of it but check your state's laws, Minnesota is gay as hell

Re: Stuntriders give cops Headaches!!

I've actually tried to talk to the city and county about getting all the right things together to be able to ride in a vacant lot with the owners permission.
no dice.. has to be a sanctified event and a ton of yellow tape. make it easy and a enclosed environment. I'm trying to do my part but I guess i don't have the time and resources to deal with these people.

Re: Stuntriders give cops Headaches!!

it's interesting they provide statistics for increased motorcycle deaths but at the same time do not provide statistics for how many more riders are out there now vs then. it wouldn't surprise me if the ratio is the same.

from what i was told by several people, the amount of riders compared now to then has like tripled and the death rate has not even doubled. but who knows. theres no real way to find out. so the ratio supposedly has gone down. they dont ever mention that though
