mounts look realy close.

the cases are different.... or at least they look like it in the microfische, and the part numbers are different.

We were going to try this at one point too, but never got around to it...

i dont see how it could work, even if you somehow got it to mount which i doubt u would because the frames are different, the 05/06 has 2 sets of injectors in the airbox meaning you would need a whole wiring harness/ecu/airbox/exhuast swap which sounds like a big ******* nightmare.

forgetting the fact the frame is different you could use the throttle bodies and air box and harness off the older motor but getting ot to fit in the older frame would take some work

i have put an 03 gsxr 750 motor in an f2 and then an 03 600 motor in an f2 and i had a 98 zx6r motor in a 93 zx6e frame so you can do any thing it will just take some work

haha lol I called my f3 frankenbike for a while when I zip tyed my whole windscreen together when it broke in half like a potato chip one day. i was wiggling it like a dork and the old thing snapped.
people kept saying it was cool looking but it really looked like trash to me.

hey mark the motor works great for the 9 hundo. it took me about 2 minutes to get BP after not riding for about 6 months. ill be scraping here pretty soon i think. any update on cages? i cut the FI cage off so its just sliders cus the bolts were almost touching the covers the cage was so twisted up. i want SI! lol
