Two fans on the rad is overkill but super simple.... just safety wire another one upside down on the other side.

I have the stocker set up to turn on as factory, with the extra one wired to a switch. I literally never use the second one..... unless I'm doin burnouts for a while.

Re: f4i fabs look here

I hate when my bike gets hot so a second fan would be perfect for me

Where do you hook up your zip ties?

If they are not hooked up at the right place that could be your problem. I broke my tabs several times from learning circles and stalling but I found a good spot to hook up the zip ties and it's perfect now. You need the big fat ones.

I only need 2, one on each side. If you put more it will pull your rad close to the motor and the fan rubs. You don't need them too tight either then they will pull on the tabs and have too much pressure. The zip ties are just there to stop the impact. No stress on the tabs at all. You would probably need to get your tabs welded from a rad shop.

I would still like to see pics of a rad cage. I never heard of that.

Oh makes sense.

I think that's a good diy method hehe. I think if you do that and replace the bottom bracket for a steel one then you will never have anymore problems.

Re: f4i fabs look here

Used all the advice from this thread, made one similar to N*A*M but have a steel bracket at the bottom it bolts on bottom and top too, this way you can use your stock tabs or don't have too if they are broken.
