foot in subframe circles to the right, which way do you turn your bars?
Re: foot in subframe circles to the right, which way do you turn your bars?
Once I got the righty's down, I tried going to the left.... got one full rotation a couple times... then spun one a lil too fast, highsided and blew my right knee out as I put it down to save the bike.
Hyperextension w/ the full weight of the bike on it. Complete rupture of the ACL, both meniscus shattered, and a femur fracture!
In other words.... take it slow and be careful.

ouch, I hyperextended my knee from a highside. It sucks cause ever since I cant do frog podiums anymore. Now when it highsides I dont try to save it, I just bail lol

It's the best thing to do... bike parts are expensive... but new body parts are EXTREMELY expensive and take a LONG ******* time to heal up.
I'm finally at about 98-99% and it's been exactly 14mths since surgery.

Hey I try man... I'm just that type of guy that needs to crash to learn.
I wish I was like some of the guys I ride with... they learn just by watching some vids.. then nail it on the 1st or 2nd try.
I take longer....... but get **** down much smoother... hehehe

Cool man glad to help!
Try to physically lean it over, lean back then pull, lean it over, then back then pull, and so on.... it works really well to keep em going and going.
If you are stalling alot then keep it in your head to STAY OFF THE BRAKE! Try to just tap tap here and there... mostly gas gas gas and they'll keep going.
Don't be afraid to push it and get em really leaned over and spinning fast... you'd be suprised how far you can go w/out lowsiding.
Anyway that's how I learned to do them... and the trick is just getting used to that weird feeling you get of "almost falling over".
Then when you wanna stop, just pull in the clutch, hit the brake, then let off and ride away in a wheelie.
Good luck.. and have fun.:YEAH
