Wow, Nine pages later and I don't know what to think any more!

First let me say, SIC J, I realize I'm new to town and all so i don't know how you guys roll. But I hope to got i never have to see you in those booty shorts!

I've been on both sides, i've had my Explorer and my Banshee stolen over the years. Both were recovered, and both insured full coverage. I can say that even with ins, I still lost money. What they paid me was less then the cost to fix the stuff that got messed up from the theft (the pro-rate for are, wear, ect). HOWEVER, when I moved from MN to CA I put full coverage on my stunt bike. I pay $450 a year for my F4i and my 1000 combined. I'd rather lose a little money after getting screwed by the ins company then lose my whole investment in my bike!

Now as for stolen parts... I've pobably had stolen parts on my bikes over the years. There are good deals on CL and ebay! Everyone i have posed this question to seemed to think that if you didn't know the parts were stolen who cares, but that it was bad karma to knownly buy stolen parts. I'm starting to belive that is how most actually feel. I know i hate thieves, but when I buy something on ebay I seldom stop to question if it is stolen.

As for saying that stealing 20 bikes is ok, because it is from a dealer... ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME???? I have a friend that had some snowmobiles stolen from his dealership and had to eat the cost himself cause if he claimed it on his ins the 3 premium hike was going to be more then the value of the sleds.

the article said most of the bikes were stolen from apt complexes, not dealerships. rocsteady's a liar and last year wasn't he some total ****** emo tool talkin **** to everyone til they almost got his ip address?? haha!! stealings not cool. it makes ins premiums go up too. but in my (unpopular) opinion though, drug dealers are the dogshit on the bottom of a thiefs sneaker. they steal lives. just thought it should be said.
