Re: 6 quarts of oil?

isn't that like 2 quarts over what that bike takes?

I put like a third to a half over in all my hondas.

Re: 6 quarts of oil?

If you overfill it you will blow every seal in the engine. Fill it to the top of the glass when the bike is up and thats plenty. Its a HONDA you dont even really need oil in it and it will run.

+1 from empty shouldn't take much more than 4 quarts. i put a little over 4 1/2 into mine so its a little higher than the recommended level.

check your owners manual bro...and if you don't have one i recommend getting that and a service and repair manual.

yeah def drain about the quart and 1/2 out.

as far as the level goes it's different on every bike, my zx6-r has 2 lines next to the fill glass where the oil level should be between when the bike is level.

but like i said before you gotta either get a manual or check online to see where it should be on your specific bike.
