Re: ON/OFF Fan Switch????

yo dude, pull the fan fuse and use a male spade connector to supply power to the fan constantly by tapping into the side with 12V w/the key on at all times. use two other female spade connectors to fuse it (usually10amps) before power gets to the fan-motor. next ALWAYS put the switch on the negative/ground /earth wire......this completely cuts the temp sensor-switch out of the circuit so keep an eye on the temperature and flip it on when stunting in a lot always and click er off when street riding or unless you are in the city heat bro.....

it's easily done, some makes you can wire the switch to interupt the temp sensor circuit and the ECU/computer will automatically switch the fans on....check the specs for your bike or just hard wire the thing.

yea thats what most of us do ... especially stunters due to low speeds and insufucient air flow the bikes run hot .. just be sure u dont wire the switch into the incoming power wire on the ingnition because after u hit the kill switch or shut the ignition off it will continue to run due to the fan motor still spinning and genarating power threw the ignition system and its a bad thing if you stunt especially if u get into a sitituation were u need to kill the bike imediatley me and my boy found that out the hard way

Re: ON/OFF Fan Switch????

I had to do it to my bike because it has an 02 radiator on it. I just hardwired it with a switch under my subframe. Simple on/off setup.
