Question New Fullthrottle handbrake setup. Who's usein em?

New Fullthrottle cluch style handbrake set up. who's usein em with good results?

My bike is still in rebuild status but I bought one of the new style handbrakes to use on my new lsl DB kit but I havent got the bike back together to try it out yet or anything. Bill is a great guy to do business with and talked me into the new kit verses the old one but Ive heard nothing good bout em. What experiences u guys had ?

Im pondering contacting bill and trying to swap out for the old style kit cuz I destroyed my bike last year due to a **** brake set up and Im just now got it about dun 10X better bike than b4. I just dont want to rebuild agin so extensively.

Re: New Fullthrottle handbrake setup. Who's usein em?

I use it with no problems

I like how sensitive I can make it....no probe with me but then again I'm a "pro" & am sponsored by bill, so that must be why it works so well for me! LOL

its rider choice, you could go either way and spend about the same buying a dual caliper setup! i run a hohey setup and love it, and i know people who are runnin tap-ins and love em to

Re: New Fullthrottle handbrake setup. Who's usein em?

i have it....i did like it and possibly still do but after i get rid of all this rash. I did have a real hard time bleeding it to get it to be solid but after bleeding it many times it felt good. Without writing a novel, i will say this....I had it on my bike and it worked fine all day and then all of a sudden i notice the hb was getting mushier, not a work but **** it. I decided to go out and just try a few sit down circles and stoppies. After ripping up a top of 2nd gear coaster did i realize the bleeder screw on the master came loose and left the bike resting ever so gently cage first on my head sliding down the track at kots. So for me, pro's about it is it works nice and feels good similar to a brembo(i've never had an actual 16x18 on my bike but i have used some on others bikes before) con's: don't really like how it controls your whole entire breaking system, reason i really like the idea of the hohey dual caliper setup. I realize wrecking was my fault due to not re-checking the bike before i went out to ride but just trying to give some of the views of someone that is not sponsored by them, wish i were though hahah

You get alot for that price.. Master plus 2 steel braided lines, and the $105 asv lever.. Great concept. #2 has that right now and I know it was a bitch for him to get bled. He's still tweaking. not sure what he thinks of it yet

No offense to full throttle but never could trust a single caliper out back. I'll always run dual caliper.
