I already moved addy's too so Ryan stole the 69.00 dollars I sent him. Oh well I dont care anymore...It would have been nice to get the pickup but thats not happening. The dude wont return emails, pm's , nothing.....I am sure you'll be able to reach this guy if your sending him money but thats where the communication ends.. I am overit but if anyone has a pickup for an 02 gix I am still interested in getting it!

Anyone have one of these not on their bike yet? Just curious what the length is. I have already modeled the mount and I'll get the specific dimensions as far as the diameter and mounting holes tonight. Just curious if anyone knows the length. As soon as I figure it out, this will take next to nothing to make.

You should open up your own company and if you have a little bit of communication you will be rich, Stuntex are the only ones I know who makes them but never call back or not contact method, I have sent emails years ago and he never got back so dont even try.

I ordered mine through Stuntme.com as well and they were pretty good but expensive as hell for a gasket (that's the one for the F4i) looks even easier to make.

Yeah Stuntme.com is the way to go, don't order directly through stuntex.com

I don't have the time, desire or even know-how to start my own company. I am just not going to spend that much on a part that I just created a model for in about 2 minutes. The design is the easy part. I will just have to get my print to my cnc guys and see if it will work. If all goes well, I will just give away the dims or have a few made. I don't want to interfere with any patents or anything though. I am an engineer, not a business man.

I figured. I don't want to mess with anyone else's business(or lack there of, it sounds like to me). I just know there isn't much to it.

Does that mean you can make one for yourself but you can't sell it?

Think about it, how the hell is someone going to sue you for making something for yourself. As long as you aren't trying to make a profit off of someone else's product I would assume that you would be ok.

Re: stuntex oil pick up- wtf?!?!

yeah but they can't hold a patent forever though. im pretty sure theres a limit of time that you can produce exclusively with a patent then others can sell them. or else there would only be one of everything right? lightbulbs, soda, cars. that would be fucked. and what good is a patent when the guy wont answer e-mails. thanks for the info though. if anyones got it for the 03 gixx 1000 gimme a shout.

Re: stuntex oil pick up- wtf?!?!

you could make them and give them away with "other" products. like 80 dollar grips that come with a free oil pick up
